Day 4
This morning I'd lost another pound, so that makes 5 lbs in 4 days. Today is the day I'm supposed to enter the fat-burning/ketosis stage, but we'll see. So far its after 1pm and i'm pretty tired. Then again, I forgot coffee this morning. My stomach is still vaguely upset. I'll post again on weigh day next week!

Day 3
This is what I'ma eat for as long as it takes to lose my 40 lbs of excess. At first glance, it looks pretty delicious, right? No seriously though, these packets are not bad. Well, some are. The eggs are gross. But I like the soups. And the brownie for lunch was okay.
I started this blog because I was looking for blogs which talked about weekly losses, how people felt on each day, etc. and didn't really find much.I don't care a whole lot about Medifast recipes as I'm busy and actually relish the ease of dumping crap into a cup and not thinking about meal planning.
So how is it? Well,I weighed myself this morning after 2 days and I was down 4 lbs. That's pretty amazing if you ask me. My coach says I shouldn't weigh every day, but I'm curious and I can't not do it. So far, I've only felt hungry when it was time for my green meal, which is dinner. It is because that meal is spaced out further because I have to drive home from work. Also, I've been drinking tons of water, which helps. I haven't had headaches or irritability, no lethargy. My stomach has been upset a couple of times, probably just adjusting to a new diet of high protein and little carbs.
If you're wondering, I'm 5'7 and started at 193.5, which is the most I've ever weighed and a personal atrocity. I started grad school last year, moved away from one of my favorite places, ended a relationship, started two new jobs and generally have been completely all over the place and not focused on my health. I gained 20lbs since I moved in September 11.My "normal" is about 175, (I'm a size 12 at 175) but I'm trying for a goal of 150 eventually.
I don't want to be too skinny. I like myself. I just want to be healthy and able to do things and feel better. I think that can happen, because Medifast seems to be legit. I'm not a spokeslady, either. But considering every BS fad I have tried, this seems actually feasable. It's just 6 small meals a day. 5 are the medimeals or however you call them, and one is meat and veg.
So yeah, 4lbs in 2 days. I'd like to lose 14 this month, ideally. Tonight I'll take some befat pictures so later you can compare with after pictures.
